We have entered the evening and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. Praise is due to Allah. He has no partner. There is no god but He, and unto Him is the return.
Note: Sheikh Redwan's verification for Majmu'ah ar-Rasa'il (Al-Ma'thurat chapter), footnote no. 97 states: Narrated from Abu Hurairah (r.a.): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say in the morning: "We have entered the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah, all praise is for Allah, He has no partner, there is no god but He, and unto Him is the resurrection"; and in the evening he said: "We have entered the evening and the kingdom belongs to Allah, all praise is for Allah, He has no partner, there is no god but He, and unto Him is the return." Narrated by Ibn al-Sunni and al-Bazzar; al-Bayhaqi said: Its chain of narration is good (jayyid).
