I seek forgiveness from Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer — and I repent to Him.
Note: Sheikh Redwan's verification for Majmu'ah ar-Rasa'il (Al-Ma'thurat chapter), footnote no. 111 states: Narrated from Zayd, the freed slave of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that his father heard his grandfather report the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever says: 'I seek forgiveness from Allah, beside Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer, and I repent unto Him,' he will be forgiven even if he had fled from the battlefield." Narrated by Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Hakim, who graded it sahih according to the criteria of al-Bukhari and Muslim.
