In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none equal to Him.
Note: Sheikh Redwan's verification for Majmu'ah ar-Rasa'il (Al-Ma'thurat chapter), footnote no. 96 states: Narrated by Abdullah ibn Khubayb (r.a.): "We went out on a dark and rainy night searching for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to pray for us. When we reached him, he said: 'Say.' I said nothing. Then he said: 'Say.' I said nothing. Then he said: 'Say.' I asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what shall I say?' He said: 'Say: He is Allah, the One, and the two surahs of refuge (al-Falaq and an-Naas) three times in the evening and in the morning; they will suffice you against everything.'" Narrated by Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nasa'i; al-Tirmidhi graded it hasan sahih.
