In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind. The King of mankind. The God of mankind. From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws. Who whispers in the hearts of mankind. From among the jinn and mankind.
Note: Sheikh Redwan's verification for Majmu'ah ar-Rasa'il (Al-Ma'thurat chapter), footnote no. 96 states: Narrated by Abdullah ibn Khubayb (r.a.): "We went out on a dark and rainy night searching for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to pray for us. When we reached him, he said: 'Say.' I said nothing. Then he said: 'Say.' I said nothing. Then he said: 'Say.' I asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what shall I say?' He said: 'Say: He is Allah, the One, and the two surahs of refuge (al-Falaq and an-Naas) three times in the evening and in the morning; they will suffice you against everything.'" Narrated by Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nasa'i; al-Tirmidhi graded it hasan sahih.
